Our Top Things to do at Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World is a place where your dreams come to life. There are four exciting theme parks within Walt Disney World, including the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. If you're planning a Disney vacation, here are our top things to do at Walt Disney World (and a few cute tees to wear while doing them).
Magic Kingdom Park
Hang out with pirates on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride
This Magic Kingdom ride offered thrilling pirate adventures long before the movies came out. Step on one of their boats, and you'll go back in time to the 17th century. You'll have to navigate hostile waters and rambunctious pirates. If you're lucky, you'll see the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow. By the end, your new anthem will be "yo ho, yo ho a pirate's life for me."
Visit the Seven Dwarf's Mine
If you want to spend time with Snow White and the seven dwarfs, hop aboard the "Seven Dwarfs Mine Train." This twisty rollercoaster will take you through the shafts of the mining mountain and give you some spectacular views of Fantasyland while you're at it. Don't forget to wear your Seven Dwarfs Mining Co. tee to fit in with the miners while you ride!
See the world on the Jungle Cruise
Transport yourself to three continents – Africa, Asia, and South America – in just ten minutes on this exciting boat tour. On your journey, you'll pass through lush greenery, see stunning waterfalls, and visit a camp overrun by gorillas. You'll probably see some elephants, hippos, and lions along the way. Don't forget to wear your Jungle Cruise tee at this attraction!
Explore the sea with Nemo and friends
Let Nemo and his friends guide you through their underwater home on the "Seas with Nemo and Friends" ride. You don't have to get in the water at this attraction. There is a groovy "clamobile" to transport you. Along the way, you'll see plenty of anemones, coral reefs, jellyfish, underwater mines, sea turtles, and maybe even Bruce, the shark. Don't worry though, fish are friends, not food here!
Fly around the world
If you thought it's impossible to fly around the world in minutes, "Soarin' Around the World" would prove you wrong. Hop on the next flight to visit some spectacular destinations. Some of the iconic destinations you'll fly over are the Swiss Alps, Greenland, the Great Wall of China, Great Pyramids, Iguazu Falls, and the Eiffel Tower. Buckle up and take a trip around the world!
Disney's Hollywood Studios
Explore a galaxy far, far away
The force will be with you when you visit "A Galaxy's Edge." Take the Millenium Falcon out for a smuggler's run, go on a tour of the galaxy, and build your own droid or lightsaber. Help the rebels fight the First Order in style with your Rebel with a Cause tee shirt! If you're hungry or thirsty, spend time at "Oga's Cantina" or "Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo".
Visit the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (if you dare)
You can find the "Twilight Zone Tower of Terror" ominously looming over the park. If you dare, enter and take an elevator ride to the top of this spooky building. What you might discover when you reach the top is something that will make your heart (and you) drop. Your "oh boy" teeshirt will perfectly capture your reaction as you plunge from the top of the tower.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Explore a wildlife reserve with Kilimanjaro Safaris
Take a trip to the African savanna without leaving Florida on the "Kilimanjaro Safari." Your tour will take you through 110 acres of wildlife at the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. It is possible to see up to 34 different species of animals that call the park home along the way. You'll likely see hippos, rhinos, cheetahs, crocodiles, elephants, zebras, hyenas, and more during your tour!
Trek through the Maharaja Jungle
Lose yourself in the park's "Maharaja Jungle." Traversing this lush green space is an adventure, with footbridges, waterfalls, and a palace hidden within its foliage. Wealthy maharajas used to hunt here, but now it is a nature preserve. One of the main attractions is the elegant Asian tiger, but you might also see Eld's deer, Komodo dragons, blackbucks, gibbons, Malayan flying foxes, water buffalo, and over 50 bird species.
Speed through Everest
Mount Everest is a snowy mountain world-famous for climbing and… snow creatures? At this attraction, you'll speed through Mount Everest while avoiding the mythical Yeti. To escape, you'll have to rush through its tunnels and plummet over cliffs as quickly as possible. However, you'll see some spectacular waterfalls and snowcapped mountains on your way out. It will be a thrilling adventure, but they'll make sure you escape unscathed.
Discover the magic!
The Magic Kingdom is a delightful place for people of all ages to visit. While we have listed a few of our favorite Disney attractions, there are plenty more you can explore on your vacation.
